On July 13, 2023, Dr. Sun Yi joined Taihe Institute (TI) as a fellow.
Dr. Sun holds a doctorate degree in management from Nankai University and is a postdoctoral fellow in management at Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (TJUFE) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). Currently, he serves as the Deputy Dean, Associate Professor, and Postgraduate Supervisor of TJUFE International Business School.
Dr. Sun has presided over or participated in the National Social Science Fund of China Program (NSSFC) and the Tianjin Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project. He has published several papers in esteemed academic journals, such as the Journal of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law and Research on Economics and Management, as well as numerous academic monographs and teaching materials. Dr. Sun has been recognized as an outstanding Communist Party member by TJUFE, a national outstanding professional teacher by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a national excellent instructor by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Entering its third five-year development period, TI aims to strengthen its economic and social development research capabilities. With the addition of Dr. Sun Yi, TI trusts that it can efficiently further its studies in related fields.
