Taihe Institute (TI) Hong Kong and Macao Center was officially established in Hong Kong on December 21, 2023. Yang Liuchang, Senior Fellow of Taihe Institute and former Director-General of the Department of Taiwan Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in HKSAR, was appointed as the director of the center. Yiu Chi-shing, Member of the Standing Committee of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, Tan Yueheng, Member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Chairman of BOCOM International, Cheng Lut Tim, Senior Fellow of Taihe Institute and Executive Director of CCIAM Future Energy Limited, Hu Zhanghong, Senior Fellow of Taihe Institute and CEO of Greater Bay Area Homeland Investments Limited, Zhou Jiannan, Senior Fellow of Taihe Institute and Managing Director, Member of Management Committee and Head of Mainland Development of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Peng Binge, Chairman of Taihe Institute, Zhu Dengkai, Vice Chairman of Taihe Institute Executive Council, and Song Xiaofeng, Editor-in-Chief of Taihe Institute, jointly witnessed the holding of the ceremony and exchanged views on the construction of Taihe Institute Hong Kong and Macao Center, the future development of Hong Kong, etc.
